If you’d like to live a happier and more fulfilled life, one of the things you’re going to want to learn is to do is intentionally update your belief systems.
Ultimately you’re going to want to get good at updating your beliefs quickly and in real time, but one of the things that I find prevents people from updating their beliefs quickly is one’s need to find a perfect replacement.
When they recognize they are using an outdated thinking pattern they spend a certain amount of time and energy trying to find the ‘best’ way to re-language their belief and at some point they hit a threshold and overload, freeze, and give up.
The problem is in trying to find the ‘ultimate’/perfect replacement.

The secret is not in finding great replacements, but getting great at quick replacements.
Just like an app on your phone you never download the ‘ultimate’ update of all updates and you’re done forever….
You download regular updates as needed to improve the quality of your experience, little by little over time, moving towards becoming more and more optimized with each update.
When you let go of the need of perfection and instead opt for regular incremental updates you’ll find yourself back on the mastery pathway accelerating towards your highest and best.
